Stayed home tonight. Drawing Carictures to my heart's content'. Didn't stop until I didn't feeeeeel like drawing anymore.
At first I was making up Faces. But I started thinking too much. So I looked up some Reference Photos online. I felt Successful with what I set out to do.
I wanted to draw 3/4 view Faces with only moderate Exaggerations. Because, lol, my friend and I had been laughing over some 'outside-the-box' exaggerations on a Gospel Song that we watched on an Ed Sullivan Rerun earlier this evening. The choir probably thought they were Artistically putting their own spin onto the Classical Song, but we were just hearing it as Wrong.

I feel happy if my Caricatures affect people's Hearts. Or if they're useful to help them present themselves in the Office (or Socially) ~ Most of these were drawn at a Corporate Event ~ People were posting their pictures near their Desks and on their Social Media.) Some of them were drawn at a Family House Party. I feel like there's more to a good Caricature than just triangles and lines.
It's that sort of stuff that surprises people and gets these great Reactions from them. I feel like my pictures are Useful. Like they would Inspire and be Inspiring every day

I drew a Caricature of an elderly woman based on a photograph that I found online.
Before I drew it, I spent some time drawing lines that I might use. To give it some attention, to make a decision, to control Something.
Doesn't look any different than what I would have drawn directly. But it was an interesting experience. I like thinking about lines.
I like Lines. And I like Colors. I like making Strokes. I like making Pictures. And I feel comfortable with My Style. It's as Me as my Signature is.
